Fridays Faves and a Follow Up

When we last spoke here, I'd just found a tick ass-up in my midsection and had started down the path one must take when these things happen. As we speak, that girl (as it was a lady deer tick) is en route to Rutgers to be tested for Lyme and a few other fun bacteria those buggers are known to have.

And apparently, my body REALLY wanted to get itself on antibiotics, because It tried and failed to get me to convince a nurse to put me on a course after my run in with the tick, but my bad-cold-that-became-a-sinus-infection last week was the winner, landing me at our local walk in for the second time in a week last Sunday morning (NOTE: if you live near me, DO NOT go to the walk in in Shrewsbury at 8am because you will be there with every other sick person. The reception lady said to wait until lunchtime and you'll have the place to yourself.)

So, I pretty much spent the last week blowing my nose and hoping my head didn't explode on my pillow when I woke up each morning.
