Hey Midlifers! Welcome to the first-ever Weekend Log.

This weekly entry — which hits inboxes on Friday mornings — will give you some ideas of what to say when people ask, “What are you doing this weekend?”

A dreary March morning on the Jersey Shore.

In honor of all the cuties who took advantage of my recent subscription sale, I’m extending the 20% discount through the end of the month. That will give you full access to our Friday newsletter, The Weekend Log. Please join us by clicking the button below to sign up!

Did someone say sale?

First of all, what are we even doing here? We should be watching the Severance season finale that will HOPEFULLY provide at least a few answers to all the questions we’ve been obsessing over since Season 2 began. I mean, please can they just explain Cold Harbor? Gah, how are we going to wait at least another year to get some clarity.

Anyhoo (haha Dan who hates that word) — what are you up to this weekend? I am heading to a conference in Nashville for most of next week, so will be getting organized most of Saturday. Then on Sunday I’m going to fetch my daughter in Philly and bring her back to NJ to take care of the dog while I’m gone. TBH, we’re thinking about making a detour to the IKEA in South Philly, because we are addicts. Strolling that upstairs maze and examining every vignette is our love language. I’ll let you know if I get anything.

In the meantime, let’s give you some ideas of how you can spend your precious time this weekend.
