Golly, Midlifers — it’s Friday!

We’re almost there! How was your week? I hate to sound like a broken record *scraaaaatch* but mine was a lot of JOBBING with a big side of personal growth. No rest for the weary.

Also, remember when you’d be listening to a record and it would start to skip during your favorite song? Ugh, that would be so devastating. Then you’d have to see if it was the needle, or the record. Carefully cleaning and examining each. The Spotify Generation(s) don’t even know how easy it is nowadays to just press an arrow on a screen and a song they love seamlessley begins to play.

I digress.

What’s on the docket for your weekend? My youngest is driving the four hours home for the weekend from Penn State and I’m so excited to see the guy in the flesh. It’s been a few weeks since I’ve seen any of my four children IRL and I need my fix.

The month of May will rectify that as we have A LOT of family time on the docket. Over Mother’s Day weekend, we’re all going to Penn State to celebrate the Baby Boy and our final college graduate.

Then about 10 days later, we’re all traveling to Paris (GAH) for the Oldest Boy’s wedding — which I haven’t really shared much about. The way I’ve been thinking about it is that they are eloping to the most romantic city and have asked a few of us to tag along. It’s our family and his bride-to-be’s fam plus a few close friends and partners. How special is that?
